In 2020, the surgical community witnessed the dawn of a new era in minimally invasive techniques at the 1st Pan-Asian Congress of Surgical Innovation in Singapore. Six years later, building on that momentum, the Congress is proud to return to the vibrant heart of Asia. The Pan-Asian Society of Surgical Excellence (PASSE) and the Asian Federation of Rehabilitation Surgeons (AFRS) are delighted to invite you to Hong Kong for the 7th Pan-Asian International Congress of Surgery, taking place on August 1, 2026.
In Hong Kong, the 7th Congress will center its discussions around the theme “Bridging Innovation and Tradition in Surgical Excellence.” This theme will illuminate the extraordinary influence wielded by surgeons, who remain pivotal in shaping the ever-evolving landscape of healthcare delivery across the region. Emphasizing the surgeon’s profound capacity to positively impact lives across a spectrum of settings, our Congress underscores their invaluable role in enhancing equity and accessibility to care, particularly in rapidly developing and densely populated urban centers. At the heart of this discourse lies our collective commitment to achieving Universal Health Coverage and driving forward the global health policy agenda from an Asian perspective.
The Congress aims to provide a premier stage for researchers, engineers, academicians, and clinicians from around the world to present their developments in cutting-edge surgical techniques and post-operative rehabilitation therapy. The 7th edition will be a valuable platform for inspiring international and interdisciplinary exchange at the forefront of surgical science. Hong Kong, with its unique position as a gateway between East and West, offers an ideal setting for this global dialogue. The program will feature live demonstrations, keynote speeches from world-renowned experts, and interactive workshops on robotics, AI in surgical planning, and enhanced recovery protocols.
Please join us to celebrate the power of surgical leadership, build lasting international relationships, and disseminate knowledge across specialties and cultures. Hong Kong promises not only a world-class scientific program but also a rich cultural experience. We look forward to welcoming you to Hong Kong on August 1, 2026.
